If you have a PLS library card you can do that all through the website right now! Just use your current PLS library card.

What about individuals who can't make it the library to obtain a library card?  Well, now you can apply for a PLS Virtual Library card and access remotely available Virtual Library resources faster than you can type, OMG!!!11!!!.

If you meet the requirements of a PLS library card then it's easy. All you have to do is fill out the online form. Once an initial verification is complete you'll receive an email providing you temporary access to the Virtual Library resources. Within the next couple of days you'll receive a verification code in the mail that you'll have to email back to the Virtual Library to retain your Virtual Library access. After that your Virtual Library card is valid for 3 years! At any point in time you can visit one of the hometown libraries and upgrade to a regular library card and be eligible to checkout traditional library materials.
