McLoud sets basic computer class series
The McLoud Public Library will host a three-part series of evening classes for new computer users May 21-23 at the library, 133 N. Main St.
Registration is required separately for each class and may be completed at the library or by calling 964-2960.

McLoud hosts spring craft program for adults

The McLoud Public Library hosts a springtime craft program for ages 18 and up at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.
Participants are invited to put together a seasonal craft item to take home as a decoration. The focus will be on spring flowers, which participants will make out of a variety of materials.

McLoud hosts Dan Brown teleconference for new book release

International bestselling author Dan Brown will come to several of the Pioneer Library System’s hometown libraries via a live-streaming teleconference, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m.
The live streaming of Brown’s discussion will be shown at the McLoud Public Library. The broadcast also will be streamed at the Norman and Southwest Oklahoma City libraries.

McLoud celebrates “Sweet 16” at anniversary event
Library service took a big turn in McLoud in 1997, when the McLoud Public Library opened in its current location on the corner of Main and Hinchley Streets in downtown.
And it’s hard for many people to believe that happened 16 years ago, but it did. The library invites the community to celebrate the building’s “Sweet 16” at an anniversary celebration starting at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.

McLoud invites youngsters to Toddler Time
The McLoud Public Library will present its twice-monthly Toddler Time story time for youngsters at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14 and 28, in the Milburn Room of the library, 133 N. Main St.
The program is for children ages 1 to 3 and their caregivers and features activities for children and their caregivers, including listening to books, singing songs and other hands-on projects.
