Enhance your look with Moore's DIY Beauty Bar

The Moore Public Library is helping women with some ideas to upgrade their look with a Do-it-Yourself Beauty Bar, at 6:45 p.m. Monday, April 21, in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Participants will learn how to make their own beauty products at home. During the workshop, each person will make lip balm, hair conditioner and toner that they’ll be able to take home, along with the knowledge to be able to do so again and again.

Sharpen your computer skills with a free class in Moore

The Moore Public Library announces its schedule for free computer classes for April. Classes take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Registration is required separately for each class. To register, visit the library call 793-4349, or register online at the library Events Calendar.

Moore set to host income tax assistance classes

TaxesThe Moore Public Library is getting ready for the upcoming income tax season with several features to help out the community.

Each Pioneer Library System hometown library is equipped to help customers locate, download, and print federal or state tax forms.

Income tax forms for both federal and State of Oklahoma filings are available online, and PLS cardholders may access the public computers in any of the system’s branch libraries to print their own tax forms for a per page fee.

Moore to debut Sensory Story Time

The Moore Public Library announces a new feature in its monthly Sensory Story Time, set for 10 a.m. the third Friday of the month through May, with the first edition taking place Friday, Jan. 17.

The morning will feature stories, songs, bubble time and more, with the last half of the program dedicated to sensory activities and play time for children and families to connect with one another.
