The Moore Public Library is providing local tweens and teens a Companion’s Guide to the Whoniverse for an adventure they’ll take starting at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Oklahoma Museum Network representatives are back at the library again to lead the program. They’re bringing several grueling tasks that teens will have to complete before they can be reunited with the Doctor.

Take a peek inside some of the OU Bizzell Library’s classic works with Moore presentation

The fifth floor of the University of Oklahoma’s Bizzell Memorial Library features some of the facility’s most rare pieces in its collection, many rarely seen by the public.

The Moore Public Library will unlock a few of those stories at the program “Treasures of the History of Science Collection,” set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in Room B of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Moore hosts NewsChannel 4’s Weather School

The Moore Public Library welcomes NewsChannel 4’s Weather School for a visit at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Representatives from the weather center at KFOR, NewsChannel 4, will be on hand to discuss interesting weather facts about Oklahoma’s changing weather, as well as tips on staying safe when the weather gets rough.

Children can be part of Moore's Science Club in July

The Moore Public Library invites local children ages 6-12 to be part of its Science Club this summer.

This will be a three-part series, taking place at 10 a.m. on consecutive Fridays, July 11, 18, and 25, in Rooms A and B of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Join the Block Party with Moore Lego workshop

It’s time to get creative at the Moore Public Library, with Legos the center of the day at a Block Party, starting at 10 a.m. each Monday in July.

Participants will find all the Legos they need to use their imagination to make a colorful creation. The program is for children ages 6-13.
