Moore brings tea party, super heroes together for pair of children’s programs

Super heroes and tea parties go together like, well, peanut butter and jelly. At least as far as the Moore Public Library is concerned.
The library invites children to a pair of upcoming programs that offer a broad range of fun. First is a Fancy Nancy Tea Party, set for 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18. Then the next afternoon is a Super Hero Squad Party, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. Both programs take place in Rooms A and B of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
For the Fancy Nancy Tea Party, participants are invited to dress up in one of their fanciest outfits and join library staff for stories, crafts and other fancy-themed activities.
Then the next day, super heroes take over the building, as children are asked to dress as their favorite super hero, play super games and test their super powers in a variety of activities.
Parents or guardians need to register their child to attend, as space is limited. Registration is required separately for each program.
