Teens can find tutoring help on Tuesdays in Moore
Students needing a boost with academic subjects can get the help they need with the YourTutor Program at the Moore Public Library.
The library partners with Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College to provide free tutoring for students in grades 7 through 12. Sessions will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. most Tuesday evenings during the second semester of school at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave. No registration is required to take part.
The YourTutor sessions will be available during the public school season on Tuesday evenings, with breaks for holidays and school vacations. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour, with most school subjects available for individual tutoring assistance.
Students check in at the Information Services desk in the library to be paired with a tutor for one-on-one assistance in the areas of study that they need the most.
