Repurpose some of your old fashions at Moore craft program

The Moore Public Library is providing a chance to turn something old into something new, with a Repurposed Fashion program, set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The program is for ages 18 and up, and each participant is asked to start their “Do It Yourself” project by bringing an old t-shirt or two and an old sweater that will be “repurposed” to new items.
They will use the old items, along with supplies provided by the library, to make sweater mittens and sweater leg warmers, as well as one of the following: a beaded jersey necklace, jersey headbands or a jersey scarf.
Registration is required in advance to take part.
To register, or for more information, visit the library, call 793-5100 or go online here .
