Don’t forget about storm-damaged plants

PlantsPerhaps forgotten in the recovery from central Oklahoma’s May storm damage is the care for plants and trees damaged by the weather.

The Moore Public Library will address some of those needs, welcoming Tracey Payton-Miller from the Cleveland County OSU Extension Service for a program on caring for those plants that suffered in the storms at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

The program will give specifics on saving trees and plants in damaged areas and other landscaping ideas to bring yards back to normal.

The program is for ages 18 and up and registration is required to attend.

For more information, visit the library or call 793-4349.
