The Moore Public Library will host several free computer classes in October. Classes take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
Registration is required for each individual class. To register, visit or call the library at 793-4349, or self-register online at the library’s Events Calendar .
The schedule includes:
Oct. 1, 9:30 a.m.: Computer Basics – An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
Oct. 8, 9:30 a.m.: Internet Basics- Learn the basics of web browsing and navigation.
Oct. 15, 9:30 a.m.: Email Basics—Introduction to the basic functionality of email with hands on practice sending and receiving email messages.
Oct. 24, 6:30 p.m.: Introduction to Twitter – Learn the fundamentals of the popular social media website. Practice following Twitter accounts and sending tweets. Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
