The Moore Public Library’s annual Holiday Gala brings something for everyone in its 21st edition, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The evening features activities throughout the library, including:
A gingerbread house contest and auction provided by Aging Services, Inc.
Cookie decorating provided by Platt College
Performances by the Northmoor Star Bright Choir, the St. Andrews Catholic Church Bell Choir, Sooner Sensations and the Santa Fe Honor Choir
A Holiday “Sing-a-Song,” with the Norman Music Institute, with their volunteers playing instruments while a child sings the holiday song of their choice. A DVD taping of the child will be made and sent along with participants.
And, as always, Santa Claus will be on hand to pose for photos with children. Photos will be available for pickup at the library after Dec. 14.
Everything at the Gala is free of charge, and no registration is required in advance.
