Noble Public Library
The Noble Public Library’s Teen Film Club presents a year’s worth of hard work at its Film Festival, at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the library, 204 N. 5th St.
The event will feature a screening of films put together by the group during its weekly meetings in the past year. Teen participants were central in the planning, writing, shooting, acting and editing of the short films.
A free ticket is required to attend the Film Festival and can be picked up at the library’s Circulation Desk beginning one week before the event.
And after seeing all the group has come up with in the past year, those teens inspired by the work are invited to join a new year of activities.
The Teen Film Club will meet at 4 p.m. most Wednesdays while school is in session. Participants will learn all elements of film making, help plan projects and take part in filming at or around the library as they begin working toward completed films for next year’s festival.
Teens ages 13 to 18 can be part of the group. Anyone interested will need to bring a signed permission slip from either a parent or guardian before beginning to be part of the film group.
