The Norman Public Library’s popular schedule of activities and programs give a little something for any age of children.
Activities are scheduled on a weekly basis throughout the fall at the library. The offerings include:
Busy Family Story Time, 6 p.m. Tuesdays and 11 a.m. Saturdays – Activities are geared to children pre-K age and younger, and their caregivers.
After School Special, 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays – Children in kindergarten, first or second grades can take part in an energetic program with books, films, stories, crafts and more.
Tween Creative Space, 3:30 p.m. the first and third Thursday of the month – Third, fourth and fifth graders will create unique crafts, discuss books, make friends and more.
For Fifth and Sixth Grade Only, 4:30 p.m. Thursdays – The programs feature age-appropriate crafts, movies, books and more for older tweens.
Rhythm Babies, 10 a.m. Fridays – Caregivers and their youngsters up to age 3 can take part in singing and creative movement activities.
Music Connection, 11 a.m. Fridays – Ages 3-7 and their caregivers can make a connection with music and literacy.
Registration is not required in advance to take part in any of the programs.
