Norman looking for young entrepreneurs for camp

The Norman Public Library invites middle school and high school students with a dream to take part in its 4-H Entrepreneur Camp, part of this year's Summer Reading Program.

The camps will be divided into half-day sessions starting at 9 a.m. Camp dates are June 2-6 and June 9-12, with all activities taking place in the Lowry Room of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.

Camp topics will include decision making, elements of entrepreneurship, career opportunities, dressing like a pro, customer service skills, entrepreneurs in the community and developing your "elevator" speech.

Registration is required to take part in the camps and should be completed directly through Jessie Furnish, 4-H and Youth Development Director for the Cleveland County OSU Extension Service.

To register, or for more information, call Furnish at 321-4774.

The camps are sponsored by the 4-H Foundation, Cleveland County OSU Extension Service and the Friends of the Norman Public Library.
