Teens, tweens can get a computer programming lesson from Norman classes

The Norman Public Library is giving teens and tweens a basic look into computer programming with two upcoming free classes offered through the library’s Computer Training Center staff.

“Coding with Scratch” for teens in grades 7-12 is offered at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, and the same class is offered for tweens in grades 5 and 6 at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25.

Participants will get an introduction to the programming language Scratch and use the skills to create a simple video game.

Space is limited so register online, at the library, or by calling 701-2697.
