The upcoming change of seasons means time for some changes in the garden. And the Norman Public Library is getting local gardeners prepared with a Fall Garden Workshop at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Lowry Room of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
The program will feature presentations from Steve Upson from the Noble Foundation talking on raised bed gardening techniques and garden expert Dr. Norm Park discussing cover crops that improve the soil.
There will be a Seed and Plant Exchange at the end of the workshop. Attendees are invited to bring their saved or excess seeds, as well as house plants and perennials to trade.
Registration is not required to take part in the workshop.
