Norman's Summer Reading Program brings upcoming programs for any age

Mice readingThe Norman Public Library continues to hop with activity for all ages in its Summer Reading Program schedule in the coming days.

Children

2 and 7 p.m. Monday, June 17 – Dive In Dig It concert, featuring Stephen Fite. He has performed for 30 years, with tunes geared to ages 3 to 7 but fun for all.

Teen

2 p.m. Saturday, June 15 – How to Build a D&D Character. Get a look at designing your own role-playing character for Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder character with Game Masters. Registration is required and all levels of players are invited.

2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 – Theatre Makeup Artistry, with Erin Hicks-Cheek presenting to teens on horror makeup tricks that would do any zombie proud. Registration is required.

Adult

6 p.m. Friday, June 14 – Art Walk Culture Talk, part of the Norman Arts Council 2nd Friday Circuit of Art. The theme is jazz music, featuring guest speaker and songwriter Jay Wilkinson. Sponsored by the Norman Arts Council and Friends of the Norman Library.
