The Purcell Public Library is looking for a few school-age children to transform into mad scientists. They're invited to the library at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, March 13 for the next edition of its "Mad Scientists at the Library" program.
Participants will take part in a variety of interactive and hands-on science experiments in each month's program.

Teens and tweens in Purcell are invited to discover their artistic side at a Collage Crafts program, at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in the Meeting Room of the Purcell Public Library, 919 N. Ninth St.
Participants will use several different types of recycled paper and other mixed media items to produce a collage they can take home.

The Purcell Public Library presents a chance to start the weekend with an afternoon of Teen Gaming, at 3:30 p.m. Fridays throughout March, at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
The day will focus on several role playing games, including such favorites as Dungeons and Dragons or Magic: The Gathering. Players of all experience levels are invited to attend.

The Purcell Public Library invites children ages 5 and under and their caregivers to a special weekly story time just for them.
Preschool Story Times will take place at 10:30 a.m. each Friday in March. Story Time features books, games, dances, songs, craft time and more targeted to children ages 1 to 5.

Join the Purcell Public Library for an afternoon of arts and crafts at its Makers Space programs, at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesdays at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
Upcoming editions of the program take place on March 5, 12 and 26.
Children can come to the library explore different types or art media and also have a snack. Some of the art projects may get a little messy.
