Purcell Public Library
The Purcell Public Library invites children to the library for a pair of events at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
Children ages 8 and under will explore “Shapes and Numbers,” learning about different shapes and using their creativity to make a craft they can take home as a decoration.
For tweens ages 8-12, there will be a chance to learn the “Science of Engineering” in a program taking place at the same time. Students from the University of Oklahoma School of Engineering will give a basic look at their science and help participants design with several easy, fun, hands-on activities.
Space for this program will be limited so register online, at the library, or by calling 527-5546 in advance. There is no registration required for the craft program for younger children.
