Learn to plug into the library’s digital resources at Shawnee program
With many people getting into the world of eReaders and eBooks from the holiday gift-giving season, it’s a perfect time to learn more about those new technological gadgets.
The Shawnee Public Library welcomes experts from the Pioneer Library System’s Virtual Library branch to talk about and show off the library’s offerings for users of eReaders at the program “Downloading to Your E-Reader,” set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
Virtual Library staff will demonstrate how to use the OverDrive media console used for the library’s downloadable resources. Participants who have an eReader are encouraged to bring it so they can get hands-on experience learning the system.
