Get connected with “Library 101” in Shawnee
The Shawnee Public Library takes library use beyond the books on the shelves at its Library 101 class, with two upcoming sessions set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, and again at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, in the Computer Training Center of the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
The classes will focus on the library’s OverDrive media console, the service used for downloading eBooks and audiobooks at Pioneer Library System libraries.
Participants who already have a mobile device or eReader are encouraged to bring it to the presentation they attend.
Registration is required to attend either of the programs.
For more information, visit the library or call 275-6353.
