Tecumseh says ‘We Love Our Customers’ on Valentine’s Day

The Tecumseh Public Library is showing love to its customers this Valentine’s Day with its “We Love Our Customers Day!” Tuesday, Feb. 14.
This actually has become an annual event for the library, as staff will give out free chocolate and other sweets, as well as bookmarks, to customers throughout the day.

There’s nothing like receiving roses for Valentine’s Day.
But it’s doubtful any Valentine’s Day roses have ever been quite like the ones Tecumseh-area teens and tweens have the chance to make in an upcoming Tecumseh Public Library program.
They’ll be making duct tape roses at the craft program, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

The Tecumseh Public Library’s monthly Talk of the Town Book Discussion is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the library, 114 N. Broadway St.
The program features a potluck dinner and book discussion targeted to adults and teens.

Babygarten series resumes in Tecumseh

The Tecumseh Public Library will continue its popular Babygarten™ Story Time series in 2012, with the first installment of a six-week session set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.
The storytimes are designed for ages 18 months and younger and their caregivers and feature rhymes, songs, a craft and playtime. Library Assistant Sue Walker leads the weekly programs.

The Tecumseh Public Library continues its Toddler Story Time series at 11 a.m. Thursdays at the library 114 N. Broadway.
The weekly story time series includes songs, stories, and fingerplays for little people and their caregivers. It is geared for toddlers and preschool-age children.
