The Tecumseh Public Library will host a pair of six-week series on knitting and crocheting in January and February.
“Learn to Knit,” will take place at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays at the library, 114 N. Broadway. Classes will meet six consecutive weeks, starting Jan. 8 and running through Feb. 12.
“Learn to Crochet” meets in two sessions on Saturdays. A beginning class takes place at 1 p.m. and an intermediate class at 2 p.m., beginning Jan. 12 through Feb. 16.
Tecumseh resident Wynona Carter will teach each of the classes. Participants are asked to bring some of the supplies for each class.
For the knitting class, each participant is asked to bring one pair of size 9 (10 to 12 inch) knitting needles and one skein of four-play worsted weight yarn.
For the crocheting class, participants are asked to bring either a J or a K crochet hook and one skein of four-play worsted weight yarn.
Registration is required to take part in the classes. You may register at the library, by calling 598-5955, or online.
