Grant information through the Foundation Directory Online Professional and the Foundation’s Grants to Individuals Online are available to research free at the Moore Public Library 225 South Howard in Moore. Workshops covering the best way to use these great tools are also on the agenda.

Jana Moring, Cooperating Collection Supervisor with Pioneer Library System, will be presenting “how-to” programs. On Friday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m., Moring will cover the basics of the Foundation Directory Online Professional Database. Aimed primarily at non-profit organizations, this database is the nation’s most useful resource tool for grant-seeking and grant-making. Learning to navigate this database will help save valuable time when trying to find new funders, target your proposal, or advance your organization’s mission.

Moring will present a workshop focusing on the Foundation’s Grants to Individuals on Friday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. Sign up for this workshop will begin on March 29. Providing a body of resources, this database assists individuals with information for effective grant proposal writing.  Space is limited and registration is required. For more information visit the Information Services Desk at the library or call 793-4349. Self-registration can also be done at the library’s website www.justsoyouknow.us.
