February is Black History Month and the Noble Public Library is proud to celebrate the contributions of African Americans to our lives in science, literature, government, and other disciplines.  

The Adult Book Discussion group will meet February 11th at 1pm to discuss A Raisin in the Sun by .  If you would like to join in, copies of the book are available at the check-out desk. There will also be an optional potluck following the discussion.

Throughout the month, there will be several dispalys in the library that highlight Pioneer Library System materials that highlight the the acheivements and impact of African Americans throughout history.

We invite you to come learn more about Black History Month, which began in the U.S. in 1926 through the efforts of African American historian Carter G. Woodson and grew from a week long celebration into an entire month in 1976.
